Someone needs to return Victor Newman’s Chess board to him & help Devon Winters find some office space. In the meantime, these two may as well be spending time with one another. It’s about time for something positive to bounce out of either one of them, & they are close when it’s convenient for them both on Y&R.

What in the serious hell? Why is Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) chess board still at his former Ranch house where his son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) lives with his son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) & Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)? What is the point of this?
Inside Victor & Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) last Ranch house, one of two seats that Victor’s chess board was his MV seat. Over the years Victor has spent more & more time playing chess with himself meanwhile mulling over his next real-life chess moves in Genoa City with the real-life pawns of his choosing.
Since Victor & Nikki moved into the new Newman Ranch Victor has been bored out of his mind & isn’t making any sense, this is before & after being shot by Ian Ward (Ray Wise). Victor is just plain mean. There is no reason for him to hate Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) right now but he continues out of boredom.

There’s Space in Newman Tower, Devon Winters…
Devon Winters (Bryton James) & company have been separated from everything Chancellor for months but still does not have office space for his company. What has this man been doing?
He’s never with his son Dom & who knows where his wife Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) is? Regardless, Abby doesn’t care about office space, she has a board seat & that’s enough for her. However, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is back with the family company & is too pretty & supposedly business-savvy to not have a luxurious office space.
There has to be space for Devon & company in Newman Tower. Everyone non-Newman gets fired & there haven’t been any new hires lately. In fact, even the Newmans themselves haven’t been reporting to the office as much as of late.
Lily is already back on the Victor Train after getting screwed up via Chancellor Industries by The Mustache himself. Victor is now Lily’s new top-secret detective. Devon finally persuaded Lily to work with him again after being let down by Victor.
It’s about time Devon makes an appearance to visit Victor at the new Newman Ranch to discuss office space, & please, can he stop by Adam & Chelsea’s to pick up Victor’s chess board on the way? These two could use a game…
