The Bold and the Beautiful
Down She Goes! Will A Very Telling Hospital Ultrasound Spill Every Secret B&B’s Steffy Forrester Hid Before She Collapsed?
Steffy Forrester collapsed, and now a hospital ultrasound could expose the Bold and the Beautiful baby lie and put her health in question.
STEFFY FORRESTER COLLAPSED AND THE HOSPITAL WILL ASK QUESTIONS
TL;DR: B&B’s Steffy Forrester collapsed in front of her parents, and a hospital trip means doctors, a very telling ultrasound and a health question nobody can lie their way around.

A Faint, A Family, And A Lie On Borrowed Time
Steffy Forrester has been holding her breath since August, so it figures her body finally exhaled for her. Taylor Hayesasked whether the daughter she raised could really give a grandchild away, Steffy sobbed, shook her head, watched the room blur, and went down in front of the two people she was trying to fool. Ridge Forrester had already demanded the truth because none of it made sense, and Finn had already admitted he was shocked, since he believed he and his wife were on the same page.
The faint also cut her confession off mid-sentence, which is the most convenient interruption in Los Angeles. Carter Walton knows the feeling. He spent the day at Forrester gulping water and sweating through every reminder of one night with Steffy, right up until Ridge ordered him to her place immediately. Nobody has ever walked into a room with worse timing, and Taylor, who already suspected something was off, now has an unconscious daughter and a lot of unanswered questions.

Nobody Skips The Ultrasound
A pregnant woman who collapses does not get a glass of water and a pat on the hand. She gets a rush to the hospital, and the doctors there will want to check on the baby, which almost certainly means an ultrasound. That is the problem. The cover story says Steffy Forrester is carrying an embryo that was implanted about a month ago. A scan has a way of telling a different story about how far along a baby really is. Can a screen politely ignore the math? Can a technician keep quiet about what she sees?
Daphne Rose and Carter have been told this child came from a clinic procedure, and Daphne was thrilled by a heartbeat that sounded so strong so early. If a hospital hands Steffy a printout that does not match, who sees it first, and who is standing next to her when they do? There will be no hiding the truth after that, and the people in that room will not be strangers. Finn and his mother work in medicine, and the Forresters have never been shy about crowding a hospital hallway. One ordinary hospital visit could do what weeks of suspicion could not.

What Is This Lie Doing To Her?
Set the baby aside for a second, because the woman who fainted is the one nobody is checking on. Steffy collapsed while pregnant, after weeks of panic attacks, whispered phone calls and lying to everyone she loves. Is her health at risk? Is her body telling her something her cover story cannot? Even if she and Carter manage to dupe the masses, Steffy Forrester still has to live inside this lie, and it does not come with a wellness plan.
Finn and Li Finnegan are doctors, and doctors tend to notice when a patient is bluffing. What if this pregnancy is risking her health, or even her life? Then the question stops being whether the secret survives and becomes what it is costing her. Hiding from her own family of doctors while carrying a baby is a terrible medical plan. So many factors, one massive lie, and not a single one of them is on her side. Carter can keep telling her this is their only option, but an option that puts the mother in danger is not much of an option.

Can A Lie Survive A Hospital Wristband?
Steffy Forrester can fake a smile at dinner. She cannot fake a scan, a blood pressure reading or a doctor who has known her for years. The next move may not be hers at all.
