Y&R Comings and Goings Nov. 9-13: Cait Fairbanks Returns as Tessa Porter for a Reunion With Mariah

Y&R COMINGS AND GOINGS BRING A LONG-AWAITED REUNION

Cait Fairbanks returns as Tessa Porter on Wednesday, November 11, for a reunion with Camryn Grimes’s Mariah Copeland, and this Y&R Comings and Goings roundup also has a big Monday gathering at the GCAC, Fareed Ward debuting as Dr. Andrew Bishop, and Vivica A. Fox’s Dr. Stephanie Simmons leaving town for a few weeks.

Young and the Restless Comings & Goings

Genoa City’s guest book filled up fast, and this round of Y&R Comings and Goings has a new doctor with a clipboard, a seasoned one waving goodbye, and half the Jabot photo shoot turning up uninvited. Between a shoot with unexpected volunteers and a name everyone keeps saying while the man himself stays out of sight, Genoa City is anything but quiet.

Dr. Bishop Makes an Entrance

Fareed Ward debuted as Dr. Andrew Bishop on Wednesday, November 4, strolling in on Sean Dominic as Nate Hastings and Vivica A. Fox as Dr. Stephanie Simmons in mid-hug. By Thursday he had appointed himself Nate’s proctor, which is one way to make an entrance and zero ways to make friends.

Lauralee Bell as Christine Blair, Michael Damian as Danny Romalotti, and Kate Linder as Esther Valentine turned up for the Jabot shoot on Thursday, November 5. Esther volunteered as social media manager and got a polite no.

Meanwhile, Roger Howarth as Matt Clark stays a name in other people’s dialogue, with Joshua Morrow as Nick Newman insisting he shipped Matt off to an out-of-state clinic. Matt has been the most talked-about man in Genoa City without appearing on screen once, which is a neat trick.

Elsewhere, Bryton James as Devon Winters and Christel Khalil as Lily Winters packed a bag for a visit to Beyond the Gates on Wednesday, November 4, to sit down with the Duprees and remember their late father, Neil Winters. It was the kind of crossover that sends fans of both soaps straight to the group chat.

Tessa Comes Home to Mariah

Next week, the GCAC fills up on Monday, November 9, when Tracey E. Bregman as Lauren Fenmore and Christian LeBlanc as Michael Baldwin get welcomed back. Michelle Stafford as Phyllis Summers unveils a new business plan the same day, and Beth Maitland as Traci Abbott gets a special request on Tuesday, November 10, though nobody has said what the request is.

Camryn Grimes as Mariah Copeland and Cait Fairbanks as Tessa Porter reunite on Wednesday, November 11, with the preview promising the pair gets back on track. Fans who have waited for this reunion have been patient enough, and Genoa City’s most patient couple is finally due a good day.

On Thursday, November 12, Phyllis gives Nick the third degree about Matt’s whereabouts, and Danny and Christine get a surprise visitor on Friday, November 13, with nobody saying who is ringing the bell. Lily Brooks O’Briant returns as Lucy Romalotti for Thanksgiving, and Tetona Jackson debuts as Roxanne Barrington sometime in November, with neither air date announced.
