Finally, a leading lady on Young and the Restless without a legacy last name, Audra Charles. Although she remains unemployed at the moment, she is not being funded by the Newmans, Abbotts, or the Winters families in Genoa City. It’s not like she hasn’t tried, after all, but who hasn’t in Genoa City?

Is this why everyone except Sally Spectra and maybe Amy Lewis hates her in Genoa City, yet Young and the Restlessfans love her?

Audra’s Baggage: Not as Big as Lily’s and With Sponsorship

While Lily Winters isn’t pregnant on Young and the Restless, her portrayer, Christel Khalil, is WAY pregnant. Lily onscreen has HUGE bags, HUGE jackets, and a HUGE problem with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). So, what gives? What gives is that Lily is a Winters, and although she has a few skeletons in her closet, like almost everyone else in Genoa City, she was brought up well within a legacy family.

Lily can only guess what Audra has been through to be where she is today. Sure, today of all days, she’s not in the best place, but she hasn’t had everything handed to her on a silver platter either. Oh, and will someone please call the Whambulance for Lily? Yes, Audra wasn’t exactly ethical when she worked at Chancellor Winters, but Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been entirely unethical SO many times to Lily and her family despite his supposed and convenient adoration for Lily’s late father, Neil Winters (the late Kristoff St. John).

Perhaps Lily can ease up on Audra, take her giant bag back to her condo that Y&R fans haven’t seen onscreen for months, and pack up her other bags to go visit her adult children off-screen while her portrayer is on maternity leave in real life.

Cat Fight Ongoing Between Audra and Claire on Y&R

Finally, something entertaining on Y&R! Seriously, try to find one Young and the Restless fan who DID NOT LOVE when Audra slapped Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) square in the face upright at Society in front of their mutual friend, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). It’s impossible, as it was AMAZING.

Yes, Claire had reason to be more than upset with Audra and her at the time boyfriend, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), after learning about their kissing and whatever else in the South of France on the Dumas trip from hell, along with Kyle’s deal with Victor to pay him out a generous amount and to leave Genoa City if he ever broke Claire’s heart. Well, Claire has left Kyle, and she seems to be doing just fine. Not only is she doing just fine, but she is also doing HoldenNovak.

Since Claire was declared a Newman, she’s been allotted everything with back pay for what she missed until being declared. Claire tried and almost killed her family. Audra watched Holden accidentally kill a bad guy who started it with her.

Sure, Audra Charles may have taken a thick wallet from a creepy man a million years ago who was trying to advance himself sexually and then witnessed Holden accidentally kill him. BUT she never tried to kill anyone like Claire did. Also, she never actually killed anyone like Lily. Oh, and even though she is currently unemployed, she WILL bounce back and will still be without a legacy name and everything it comes with on Young and the Restless.
