MOLLY LANSING-DAVIS GETS AN OFFER THAT WOULD TAKE HER OUT OF PORT CHARLES, AND CODY WON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER

TL;DR: On Wednesday, October 21, Molly Lansing-Davis asks Alexis how she could possibly turn down a job offer that would take her out of Port Charles. At the stables, Cody tells Tracy he won’t take no for an answer. Leave, stay or long distance: all three are on the table.

Molly Brings Alexis an Offer She Can’t Shake

These General Hospital spoilers put Molly’s job offer and her heart on a collision course. On Wednesday, Molly Lansing-Davis goes to her mother, Alexis Davis, with a career offer that would take her out of Port Charles. Her words in the preview say it all: “How could I possibly turn it down?”

Across the estate, Cody Bell is back on screen at the Quartermaine stables, catching up with his boss, Tracy Quartermaine. He is in no mood to be reasonable. “I’m not gonna take no for an answer,” he tells her. Nobody has said who is telling him no, or about what.

What we don’t know matters as much as what we do. The job, the city and the person making the offer are all still under wraps. Circulating spoiler chatter guesses at a book deal or a bigger seat in the District Attorney’s office, but those are guesses, not facts. Our weekly spoilers for October 19 to 23 flagged the Molly and Alexis talk days ago.

Molly Already Gave Up One Summer for Her Career

This isn’t the first time Molly’s ambition has run straight into her love life. On July 8, Justine Turner laid out the choice: “Promote your book or prosecute the biggest case of your legal career.” Molly took the case against Jenz Sidwell and canceled her summer book tour.

It ended on August 11 with Sidwell taking a plea for 31 years to life. Molly fumed that she had rearranged her whole summer for nothing. Cody showed up in court with flowers anyway. Three days later, when her publicist lined up a romance convention panel instead, he told her to count him in.

That record is why the hint in our fall preview coverage landed so hard. Word was that a bigger role in the DA’s office would bring Molly Lansing-Davis a major professional opportunity, and that seizing it might mean parting ways with Cody. On Wednesday, it looks like that bill comes due. Keep our two-week General Hospital spoilers handy, because this one will not settle in a day.

Cody Keeps Saying Yes to Following Her

Here’s the part everyone is skipping. Cody is the one who keeps saying yes. He signed up for the book tour, then for the convention, private bungalow and all. In March, when Molly told him her endometriosis means she cannot have children, he stayed. This year the two finally said they love each other.

This is the same man who took Kristina Corinthos-Davis‘s money in 2025 to seduce Ava Jerome, then fell for Molly instead. He found his father in Mac Scorpio and a home in Tracy’s barn. My gut tells me “I’m not gonna take no for an answer” is about whether he leaves all of it behind. Back in April, fans in one General Hospital Facebook group were already begging the show not to break them up.

Is Molly Leaving Port Charles on General Hospital?

Not yet, and nothing says she is leaving the show. No exit has been reported for Kristen Vaganos or Josh Kelly, who said in 2025 that he wants to stay on General Hospital forever, even after moving to recurring. Wednesday is a decision scene, not a goodbye.

And if Molly Lansing-Davis does go, she leaves a smaller circle than you might think. Her half-sister Kristina already left for medical school in June. What stays behind is Alexis, her father Ric Lansing, who is knee-deep in a custody war this very week, and Cody. Of those three, only one can pack a bag and come along.

Leave, Stay or Long Distance

Leave: Molly takes the job, and Cody either follows her or gets left at the barn. If I know these writers, a Cody who won’t take no is a Cody who buys a plane ticket. Tracy may hate losing her stable hand, but she knows a love story when she sees one.

Stay: Molly turns it down, again, for love and family. Don’t be surprised if that sacrifice sends a bill later, the way the canceled book tour did.

Long distance: Molly Lansing-Davis says yes, and Cody swears they can make it work. Soaps rarely let that one last. Either way, Alexis will have plenty to say, and the question is whether Molly came for a mother’s wisdom or an attorney’s counsel.

Cody Bell Is the One Who Has to Choose

Our take: Molly put her career on hold once and got burned for it, and she has earned this one. The real pressure isn’t on her. It’s on Cody, who keeps promising to come along and is about to be asked to mean it.
