Anna Knocks One Day After Carly Opened Her Heart

These General Hospital spoilers for Anna and Valentin come with a timer attached. On Wednesday, Anna Devane seeks out Valentin Cassadine. Less than a day earlier, Carly Spencer showed up at his rental house and told him how much he means to her, as our October 20 recap covered.

He promised he would never take her for granted. They were heading for the bedroom when Alexis Davis walked in with news that someone had bought Spoon Island out from under him. Asked when he could move back into Wyndemere, Alexis gave it to him straight: “Unfortunately for you, never.”

So Anna arrives at a man who just lost his home and just got the most honest speech Carly has ever made. Anna coming to Valentin is never casual.

The Therapy Plan Anna Never Wanted

Remember who set this up. On October 7, Anna told Carly that her therapist, Dr. Nichols, wants her to bring in someone who knew her when she was dealing with Faison. That someone is Valentin. Anna didn’t want to drag him back in, and she warned Carly his feelings for her once bordered on obsessive.

Carly pushed anyway, for Josslyn’s sake. On October 13 she asked Valentin herself, and he agreed to approach Anna but refused to push her, as our October 13 recap laid out. We called it the triangle Carly built in our Carly risks her heart preview.

On Monday, Carly told Lucas Jones it would hurt if Valentin chose Anna, but she would survive. Lucas told her to fight. On Tuesday she did, with the line, “I almost never take advice, but tonight I am.”

What Does Anna Want From Valentin on General Hospital?

Nobody knows yet, but the record points one way. The strongest bet is the therapy itself: Anna Devane coming to say yes, or to set the terms. Second, she may want to know he is doing it for the right reasons, and that Carly is truly fine with it. Anna is the one who sent Valentin home to Carly back in September.

Third, Carly’s real goal was a mentor for Josslyn, and Valentin has said he may have a way to help her. Fourth, there is Sonny. On Monday Anna visited Sonny Corinthos and told him about the institution staff who didn’t believe her. Circulating spoiler chatter has Valentin warning her about a serious mistake. Romance sits dead last, because Anna has never once chased him.

Charlotte’s Bracelet Is Still in Jack Brennan’s Grave

Here is the part nobody is connecting. On September 1, Charlotte Cassadine lost her bracelet in the Metro Court pool, and it ended up on the body of Jack Brennan. Ava and Drew buried him with it. The police have reopened his disappearance, and as our look at Ava’s cover-up showed, that grave is not as quiet as Drew thinks.

Nothing on screen shows Valentin knows. Charlotte is away at boarding school. And the last time Valentin kept a Charlotte secret from Anna Devane, hiding that his daughter was Anna’s stalker, it ended them. If that bracelet surfaces while he is sitting on her therapist’s couch, history writes itself.
