BRADLEY BELL PROMISED ONE PAYOFF BETWEEN FORRESTER AND LOGAN, AND WE RANKED THE FIVE TWISTS IT COULD BE

TL;DR: Bradley Bell says the Forrester and Logan war builds to “an ultimate payoff between these two fashion houses with a shocking twist for the 40th,” and CBS has it set for March 2027. Nobody has leaked the twist, so we ranked the five likeliest against what has aired.

One Promise, Two Fashion Houses

The Bold and the Beautiful 40th anniversary twist has a date and a target, and that is all anyone outside the writers’ room knows. Head writer Bradley Bell said in a fall preview interview in September that the war “will come with an ultimate payoff between these two fashion houses with a shocking twist for the 40th.” The network’s own fall preview pinned it to the anniversary in March 2027.

No plot came with it. Not a name, not a scene. So when you see that quote making the rounds again this week, know that it is the same September promise, not a new leak. The latest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers are building toward it all the same.

Look at the board. Katie Logan Spencer approved headlines on October 27 that branded Forrester Creations “Forrester Cretins,” the opening shot of her clickbait war on Forrester. Today, spoilers say Ridge Forrester tells Brooke Logan the family business is in dire straits.

Which twist would make you scream? Write to me at amber@soapoperamagazine.com and tell me your best guess.

Twist One: Spencer Money Ends Up Holding Forrester

This is our favorite, because the show has been walking toward it for five weeks. Ridge talked about getting Forrester “out of the hole” on September 25. On October 19 he said, “We have to do whatever it takes.”

On Wednesday, Eric Forrester admitted he has been asking himself whether Forrester has a future. Bell even said in September that the existence of Forrester is on the line, a tease we flagged in our fall preview of the Forrester money crisis.

The obvious version is Logan swallowing a failing Forrester. The juicier version? Bill Spencer, the man bankrolling Logan, has owned Forrester twice before. If his money saves the house his wife is trying to bury, Katie is the last to know.

What Is the Bold and the Beautiful 40th Anniversary Twist?

Nobody knows yet. What we know is what Bradley Bell said, and every part of it points at one man.

Bill funds Logan. He owns the presses that printed “Forrester Cretins.” He has been meeting Brooke behind Katie’s back since October 19. And he is Brooke’s ex-husband. Bell promised a payoff between two houses, and Bill is the only character standing in both.

Twist Two: Brooke’s Own Story Runs Through Bill

Bradley Bell gave Brooke her own line in that interview: she “is going to have a story of her own that will have some major consequences.” On October 27 she let Bill in, relieved Ridge had already left for the office, and told him, “Your wife ought to be ashamed of herself.” Today, spoilers say Katie is enraged by what she sees. Nothing romantic has aired between Brooke and Bill, and nobody is spoiling one. But a secret alliance with Katie’s husband is a consequence all by itself.

Fans are already nervous. One reader on our Facebook page begged the show not to let Bill side with Brooke. Another put Forrester’s slide on Ridge and blamed him, not Katie.

Twists Three to Five: The Secret, the Homecoming and the Bloodline

Three: the secret Steffy Forrester Finnegan and Carter Walton are keeping about her pregnancy lands in Katie’s headlines. Bradley Bell said of that secret, “You know how long secrets last.” Katie now has a printing press and a grudge. Nobody has spoiled her learning it, though.

Four: the houses reunite. Hope Logan Spencer, Logan’s creative director, wondered if Katie’s headlines were a bit much, and Zende Forrester Dominguez panicked about hurting his granddad. A merger or a homecoming would be a payoff between two houses. No exit is spoiled for either of them.

Five: a blood tie. Melissa “Miss” Dylan has never had her father named on screen, and Stephanie’s sister Pam is booked to return later this year. Fun, but Bell talked about fashion houses, not family trees. My gut ranks this last.

And the death talk? A rumor that a major character gets killed off is circulating with no name and no source. The show once planned to kill Liam Spencer, then changed its mind. We are not ranking a funeral nobody has announced.

Bill Spencer Holds the Key to the Anniversary Payoff

Our take: the twist is about who owns Forrester when the smoke clears, and Spencer money is in the middle of it. Katie wants Forrester buried. Brooke wants it saved. The man who can do either is married to one sister and was married to the other.
